Offers companionship regularly with a face-to-face visit or telephone visit at a mutually agreed upon time. Visits are usually 1 to 2 hours in length and take place in the client’s home. During this, clients and volunteers may engage in various activities, including a friendly chat, shared hobbies, going for a walk or learning a new skill, all while making a lasting friendship.
