Description:

A therapeutic program for 2SLGBTQIA+ older adults 55+ offered on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. The program serves frail seniors and adults with physical disabilities or persons with early to mid-stage Dementia / Alzheimer’s Disease.



The Adult Day Program is designed to:
Enhance well-being by providing social, physical and stimulation in a supportive, small group environment;
Strengthen the ability to remain independent for as long as possible;
Provide respite to caregivers and families

$21.00 per day, includes two snacks and a three course hot meal prepared on site.
Eligibility Criteria
Other Criteria:
Minimum Age: 55 yrs
Criteria:
Independent or minimal assistance required. Referral from Ontario Health at Home is required.
Independent with toileting, and transferring with minimal assistance as required.
Be mobile, but may use a cane, walker, or wheelchair with minimal assistance.
Individuals must have appropriate social skills.
