Our Homemaking program provides services for clients residing in the City of Kawartha Lakes when there is no caregiver available to assist their loved ones. The level of care will be determined by an assessment completed by CCCKL staff. Housekeepers are available to those who only require this service and do not require the assistance of a personal support worker.

The Homemaking program can enable clients to maintain their independence and stay in their homes for a much longer time. Housekeepers can provide peace of mind to the client and their family. Families can rest assured that conditions in their homes are clean and safe. Clients will receive one-on-one time with a housekeeper, providing social interaction and community connection. A housekeeper can empower clients to live with more dignity and improve their quality of life. Feeling seen, heard, and respected can give clients a sense of meaningful purpose to help them live the lifestyle they choose - without having to feel like they are relying on friends, family, or neighbors.
