Description:
Designed to help patients recovering from a stroke, acquired brain injury or neurological condition to reach a level of independence and return to living in the community independently or with support.

Cost to Client:
The cost of medical and professional care in standard ward accommodation is covered for patients with a valid Ontario Health Card.
Additional fees are charged for semi-private (two people per room) and private (one person per room) accommodation.

Minimum Age:
18 yrs
Criteria:
- Are adults (18+)- Have recently experienced a stroke, or acquired brain injury (ABI) due to illness/accident or other neurological condition and would benefit from short-stay intensive rehab- Are medically stable and able to participate in at least one therapy session each day;- Are reviewed by a physiatrist to determine if the patient is appropriate for this service.
